'Melting Away'

by Yash Sinojia

It's been an eternity since I saw her,

Been looking for her across the frontiers.

There was no clue and none had a hint.

I then sought her through the looking sky.

The dark clouds started encircling

The daisy fog to storm from the nadir.

Thunder escalated and blazoned the mountains.

In moments it started pouring all at once.

The drops drenched me all over.

It was her! in every single drop of rain

I was overwhelmed and couldn't take it anymore.

My eyes started dripping vicious tears.

Eventually my face started melting

and we were amalgamating.

I was thoroughly spilled into a puddle

and we were making bonds.

The pond turned into a solid structure,

stronger than anything mankind had discovered.
