'A Frustrated Engineer'

by Yash Sinojia

After spending hours, peering fixedly at the desktop screen,

handling all those errors and faults,

She got enervated and destressed.

She ejected herself and tried to imbibe a slumber.

Out of the pane, the sky started thundering

And the wild winds trembling the trees.

Nocturne of the leaves captured her attention,

And she peeked and gave heed

To the symphonic orchestra of the nature,

Serenading intensely outside the window.

Deep inside she felt a deeper realisation

That as it rains and eventually it pours,

Everyone in the Corp will be gazing out,

Just for a moment, and for that moment or two,

There won't be any ambitions or competitions

Just a divine joy to cherish

So satisfying to the soul.

And in that moment,

We'll all be infinite!
